This allows you to set the text for news items displayed on the Board Index page. Add any item you want (e.g., "Don't miss the conference this Tuesday"). Each news item is separated by a carriage-return.

This allows you to replace words with an alternative word or abbreviation that is more appropriate. For example, if someone types in fuck in one of their posts, it will automatically be replaced by f**ck when they click the post button (and will appear as f**ck in the message threads/posts). To perform this, all you have to do is type the word on the left that you want to change and then type "=" and the word you want to replace it with.
